Bareboat Charter
Bareboat sailing is where you hire and sail the yacht yourself. This is a great way for qualified sailors to really get away from the beaten track and enjoy small bays and harbors inaccessible to large tourist boats or crews sailing as part of a flotilla.
In order to take one of our bareboats independently, you need minimum one sailing license/certification and one experienced crew member as co-skipper for bare boat charters.
Skippered Yacht Charter
Not a sailor? No qualifications? Want a chauffeur and wish to be taken off the beaten track? Then this is the one for you!
Skippered charters means the yacht rental comes with an authorized skipper who will handle the main tasks of sailing the boat, navigating the islands and mooring. You can take an active part in your holiday or you can simply relax and be sailed around!
Transportation
The Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos is located approximately 32 km from our base in the Alimos Marina.
Upon request, Aegean Blue Sailing can arrange transportation from the airport to the yacht and vice versa, hotel reservation in Athens or any island and provisions for your trip.
Sailing Yacht Deliveries
Our bareboat and skippered fleets are mainly offered from our main Athens charter base in Alimos marina.
We occasionally offer our boats from other bases/islands also. If you have a specific island you want to sail from, contact us to find out more.
